"VIRTUAL IT SYSTEMS BUYS OUT, A NATIONALLY - OWNED INTERNET BUSINESS"

Friday 15 September, 2017

Virtual IT Systems is determined to continue expanding its current I.C.T consultancy services in Papua New Guinea, as it moves forward with the recent business acquisition of a nationally-owned internet cafe here in the nation's Capital.

The company's Managing Director and Principal I.C.T Consultant, Darby Joseph on Friday the 15thof September 2017 - the eve of PNG's 42nd Independence Anniversary celebrations, made a cheque presentation to CITINET INTERNET CAFE owner and business women, Jakapi Arigo.

The payment was for the buy-out of her internet business, currently located along Waigani Drive particularly within Lokou Shopping Mall (formerly the Steamships Hardware building).

The small but significant ceremony, witnessed by both business associates and consultants of both parties as well as their respective staff members, definitely marked a milestone in the history of Virtual IT Systems as it is poised to becoming one of PNG's upcoming I.C.T companies.

Initially established in 2010, Virtual IT Systems through sheer determination and hard work of its owner Mr Joseph, together with the commitment and support of his employees over the years - is slowly but surely developing its current ICT services to its clients in Port Moresby that cover Government departments, statutory bodies, the private sector, community and non-government organizations and individuals reaching out to more businesses too in other smaller centers of the country.

The engagement of a team of consultants both nationals and expatriates since the start of 2016 and the recent purchase of this internet business, is what can be best described by Mr Joseph as "added blessings to his small growing but vibrant company".

Citinet Internet Cafe was set up earlier this year providing internet service within the Waigani Commercial Centre and surrounding areas, delivering other jobs such as binding, laminating, scanning and printing among others as well.

These existing services provided by Citinet Internet Cafe according to Mr Joseph will be further enhanced when Virtual IT Systems takes over the full management of the internet business.

Preparations are already underway for the completion of this business deal between these two national business executives, which is expected to be finalized by the end of this calendar year.
